Remove a Storage Capability

You can remove an existing user-defined storage capability if you do not use it.
You can only remove user-defined storage capabilities. You cannot remove a system-defined storage capability.

If you remove a storage capability that is part of a virtual machine storage profile, you might break the virtual machine storage profile compliance for the virtual machines and virtual disks that use it.

1 In the VM Storage Profiles view of the vSphere Client, click Manage Storage Capabilities.The Manage Storage Capabilities dialog box appears.
2  Select an unused storage capability and click Remove.
3 Click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.The storage capability is removed from the list.
